Kayam tent with 6 poles, over 14 m height and 5 m lateral opening, used for the first time for a Romanian festival – specially brought for the “Freedom Stage”
For the first time in Romania, a Kayam tent will be brought. This type of tent, similar to a pagoda, has 6 poles, 14.5 m height at its roofs and 5 m lateral opening. The Kayam will cover the area where the main stage will be placed, but will not have its lateral sides closed in order to let the public enjoy the nature, the fresh air and the sun during the first concerts of the festival.
The Kayam was designed as a mobile theatre venue which could accommodate all the requirements of modern stage performance while retaining the versatility of a circus big top. It also has a blackout structure, so that stage lighting would still be available in daylight.
More than that, the Kayam tens is more than generous with attendants, since lorries can be driven into this tens and it can host up to 10.000 persons.
The Schedule for the concerts held on the Freedom Stage, placed under the „Kayam” tent was also finalised:
The events will start on Saturday (18th of June), after 10:00 and will end on Monday, morning, after 06:00.
Monday (20th of June) is a National Holiday and, therefore, it is free from work.
The schedule of the alternative events will be soon published in this „News” section and will include a wide range of workshops, creative activities, extreme sports, photo booth and lots of other surprises.
Looking forward to meeting you on the Field of Liberty at Blaj aLive Festival 2016!
Don’t forget to get tickets in advance, as they will be more expensive during the festival: Lei 100 now versus Lei 130 during the festival weekend.
