Este membru in colectivele Cologne Tape, Magazine and Zeit 2, dar si o figura importanta in muzica label-ului din Koln. EP-ul sau de debut " What Is A Number, That A Man May Know It? pe Magazine a devenit instant un clasic Modern Kosmische in 2010, fiind sustinut de Daphni, Four Tet, Dixon, Optimo, Tale Of Us si altii. Succesul exploziv solo a lui Barnt l-a indemnat sa lanseze Geffen, inclus pe legendarul EP Cómeme "The Power of Now". Aflat la varful multor clasamente de final de an, piesa a ajuns pe locul 14 in top 50 pe 2012 al Resident Advisor. Barnt founded the label Magazine with Crato and Jens-Uwe Beyer in 2010. Also being a core member of the collectives Cologne Tape, Magazine and Zeit 2, Barnt is a key figure in the musical output of the Cologne-based label.
