Primul concert KADEBOSTANY din România va fi organizat la Blaj aLive în acestă vară, pe Câmpia Libertății unde vom asculta live Castle in The Snow, un hit radio care rulează neîncetat în FM-ul românesc. Prima formație confirmată pentru festival se bucură de mare succes comercial în România, cu toate că stilul muzical este perfect compatibil cu Blaj aLive. La Blaj aLive Festival 2016, Dub Inc transmite în direct un mesaj universal pentru toți iubitorii muzicii reggae, dub și dancehall, aproape de zona hip hop, un concert aparte susținut de una dintre cele mai de succes trupe de reggae din Europa.
Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Reggae și diverse variații muzicale formează programul celui mai accesibil festival multicultural al țării. Lista completă a artiștilor participanți va fi comunicată în curând.
Au trecut trei ani de când românii revin la fiecare început de vară pe Câmpia Libertății din Blaj pentru a petrece două zile și două nopți de experiențe culturale binevenite pentru dezvoltarea unei comunități de oameni frumoși, uniți și pregătiți să aducă un plus de culoare și valoare în jurul lor.
Blaj aLive Festival promovează libertatea, educația și inovația ca suport tehnologic pentru dezvoltarea culturală și găzduiește în zilele festivalului inițiativele tinerelor organizații, parte din noua revoluție culturală. The first KADEBOSTANY concert in Romania will take place at Blaj aLive Festival, this summer, on the Field of Liberty, where we will listen live to “Castle In The Snow”, a radio hit in heavy rotation at the Romanian radio stations. This Swiss based band is one of the new sensations of the international pop music and are said to bring a fresh renewal to this genre, being set to conquer the world. Their latest single „Castle in the snow” perfectly mingles with Blaj aLive festival mood.
Dub Inc will transmit live an universal message addressed to all reggae, dub, dancehall or hip hop music lovers, thus performing live an energetic show which will prove once again that Dub Inc is one of the most successful reggae bands in Europe.
Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Reggae and other musical directions join to form the artistic schedule of the most accessible and welcoming Romanian multicultural festival. The full list of performing artists will the updated in the close future.
Three years have passed since Romanians come to the Field of Liberty to spend the beginning of the summer and to live two days and two nights of cultural experiences meant to also support the development of a strong and beautiful community of people who bring an added value to everything they do.
As once the “Romanians’ sun has risen” here, thus bringing them together and giving birth to their cultural and spiritual identity, in modern times, Blaj aLive Festival brings into the spotlight the main national artistic trends, framed in the larger context outlined by the European cultural dialogue.
The Festival stands for freedom, education and innovation, seen as the technological foundation needed for the local cultural development. It also encourages the initiatives belonging to youth organizations, as part of the new cultural revolution.

Solistul si DJ-ul german a venit cu propriul sau gen, sci-fi-techno-disco, dupa ce a experimentat cu mai multe atiluri, de la punk rock la acid, balade si techno. Justus Kohncke e unul dintre membrii de baza ai labelului Kompakt, cu o cariera inceputa anii 80, cand facea parte din proiectul Blood and Honey. In anii 90 s-a mutat in Koln, iar de atunci a lansat 5 albume alaturi de labelul la care au mai pus umarul Wolfgang Voigt, Michael Mayer si Jürgen Paape.
La petrecerea de pe 16 mai vor mai mixa si DJii romani Andrei Rusu (Khidja) si Alexandru Jijian. Khidja e un proiect prezent in muzica electro de la noi inca din 1999, in timp ce Jijian a devenit cunoscut in anii 2000, cand a pus muzica in serile Electro.
Facebook event[:en]Justus Kohncke kick starts the Kompakt party in Control Club on May 16. The Kompakt DJ will be mixing for all the music fans, and just a couple of weeks later we will see him live again at Blaj aLive, on the Liberty Field, at the party hosted by the Cologne label.
The German singer and DJ came up with his own genre, sci-fi-techno-disco, after experimenting with various styles, from punk rock to acid, ballads and techno. Justus Kohncke is one of the base members in Kompakt, starting his career in the 80s, when he was part of the Blood and Honey project. During the 90s he moved to Cologne and became part of the label founded by Wolfgang Voigt, Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape.
The May 16 party will also feature local acts Andrei Rusu (Khidja) and Alexandru Jijian. Khidja is an electro music project started in 1999, whilte Jijian became known after mixing music at the Electro parties, at the beginning of the 2000s.[:]

Conceptul Jazz in the Park s-a nascut in New York-ul anilor ’80 cu ideea de a aduce muzica buna in Central Park, astfel incat sa fie usor accesibila tuturor si a cucerit rapid si marile orase europene. In 2013 a fost importat pentru prima data in Romania, la Cluj-Napoca. Evenimentul principal va avea loc in Cluj, la sfarsitul lunii iunie, unde vor fi asezate scene mici, variate, ringuri de dans, targuri vintage si o scena centrala mare pentru concertele de seara.
La Blaj aLive, Jazz in the Park va promova o atmosfera jazz, concerte si auditii. Ori Alboher este primul artist confirmat pe scena Jazz, un artist ultra sensibil care abordeaza zona folk, neo-soul, house si trip hop printr-o muzica ambientala plina de culoare, imprimata cu mare atentie pe albumul Unwind, disponibil pe Bandcamp.
De aproape 8 ani, Astronaut Kru Sound System, activeaza in underground-ul muzicii electronice din Romania. Sistemul de sunet astronaut este sustinut de motoare pregatite si setate pentru calatorii intergalactice, printre ritmuri electronice, d’n’b, breaks, dubstep alaturi de techno, electro, idm si alte genuri, toate cu voie buna si vibratie pozitiva. Echipajul astronaut ii are ca si conducatori de nava spatiala pe Burner Greene, Kukilla si Mofo.
Audio Fort este o comunitate de DJ si producatori locali care pun bazele scenei de clubbing din Alba Iulia. “Scena de la Blaj aLive e prielnica pentru dezvoltare, promovare si va aduce un plus festivalului pe care cu totii vor sa il sustina. Vom incerca sa fim prezenti la Blaj impreuna cu Framm’s, un mic bar din Alba Iulia care a acceptat sa sustina miscarea Audio Fort la Blaj aLive.” – Octave aka ORKA, membru fondator AudioMutz si Audio Fort. Festivalul de pe Campia Libertatii se va deschide vineri, ora 12:00 si se va incheia duminica dimineata, la ora 05:00. Locatia oficiala pentru after hours va fi Club M din Blaj. Of course, Red Bull will also be present at Blaj aLive with a tent playing music throughout the day.
The Jazz in the Park concept was born in New York in the 80s as an idea of offering good quality music in Central Park, in such a manner that it would be widely accessible, and soon the idea spread and conquered important European cities. In 2013, it was imported for the first time in Romania, at Cluj-Napoca. The main event will take place in Cluj, in late June, where various small stages will be featured, with dance floors, vintage shops and a big stage for the evening concerts.
At Blaj aLive, Jazz in the Park will promote a jazzy atmosphere, concerts and listening parties. Ori Alboher is the first confirmed for the jazz stage, an ultra sensitive artist who blends folk, neo-soul, house and trip hop in a vividly coloured ambiental music, carefully recorded on his Unwind album, available on Bandcamp.
For almost 8 years, Astronaut Kru Sound System has been a part of the Romanian underground electronic music. The astronaut sound system is in full throttle and ready for intergalactic journeys with electro, d’n’b, break and dubstep rhythms, entwined with techno, electro, idm and other genres, all featuring a positive vibe and a good time. The spaceship crew is formed by Burner Greene, Kukilla and Mofo.
Audio Fort is a local DJs and producers community that lay ground to the Alba-Iulia clubbing scene. “The Blaj aLive scene is perfect for developing and promotion and will bring a plus to a festival everyone cares to support. We will try to bring with us Framms, a small bar in Alba Iulia that has agreed to support the Audio Fort movement at Blaj aLive, states Octave aka ORKA, AudioMutz and Audio Fort founder. Alongside Octave, Kito, Turturu, Andreus, Akadela, Cris, oweN, Badea, Alex Modoi, Miyka’el and other special community guests will be mixing for Audio Fort.
The Liberty Field Festival begins on Friday at 12 p.m. and ends on Sunday morning at 5 a.m. The official after hours location is Club M in Blaj. Un luptator cultural, renumit pentru dedicare sociala si cosmopolitism creativ chiar si in cele mai cunoscute cantece, Manu Chao a devenit unul dintre cei mai influenti muzicieni din istoria recenta, cu prestatii live aclamate pe cinci continente. Manu Chao se inspira din cultura de strada si din momentele traite in diverse tari sau de diverse nationalitati. In piese ca Me gustas tu, Welcome to Tijuana, Je ne t’aime plus, Bongo bong, muzica sa multiculturala si multilingvistica este un cocktail de rock, reggae, punk, ska, cu sunete si ritmuri adunate de pe tot globul, cantand in engleza, spaniola, franceza, italiana sau altele, mixandu-le uneori in acelasi cantec.
Manu Chao a fost un binecunoscut membru al scenei pariziene de muzica alternativa, cantand in trupe ca Hot Pants si Los Carayos. Chao si-a lansat primul album solo “Clandestino” in 1998, cu un succes international rasunator. Al doilea album al sau, “Proxima Estacion: Esperanza”, in colaborare cu Radio Bemba Sound System, a fost lansat in 2001 si a fost de asemenea un mare hit. Regele Bongo este un artist inspirat, creativ si dedicat, acompaniat de La Ventura, insemnand Madjid la chitara, Philippe Teboul la tobe si Gambeat la bass, asa cum au fost in proiectele precedente Radio Bemba sau Mano Negra. Pregatiti-va sa cantati si sa dansati la Blaj aLive cu Manu Chao La Ventura pe cele mai cunoscute piese ale sale, precum si pe cele mai recente cantece, neinregistrate inca.
Abonamentele pentru Blaj aLive costa 70 lei, iar abonamentele de festival cu acces inclusiv in camping vor costa 120 lei, pana la sfarsitul lunii aprilie. Renowned for his social commitment, his creative cosmopolitanism and his militancy on popular songs, Manu Chao is one of the most influential musicians in recent history, with an acclaimed live performance on five continents. Manu Chao finds inspiration in street culture and local scenes from different countries and nationalities. Me gustas tu, Welcome to Tijuana, Je ne t’aime plus, Bongo bong, his multicultural and multilingual music is a cocktail of rock, reggae, punk, ska, found sounds and rhythms from around the planet, singing in English, Spanish, French, Italian and few other languages, sometimes mixing them in the same song.
Manu Chao had been a well-known member of the Parisian alternative music scene, in bands such as Hot Pants and Los Carayos. Chao released his first solo album “Clandestino” in 1998, and the album became an international resounding success. His second album, in collaboration with Radio Bemba Sound System, “Próxima Estación: Esperanza”, was released in 2001, and it was again an instant hit. Then came „Sibérie m’était Contéee”, the first French-language-only album, and “La Radiolina”. In recent years, several hundred of thousands of people around the world enjoyed Manu Chao La Ventura’s energetic live performance.
The King of the Bongo is an inspiring artist, creative and committed, accompanied by La Ventura, meaning Madjid on guitar, Philippe Teboul on drums and Gambeat on bass, as on previous projects such as Radio Bemba or Mano Negra. Prepare to sing and dance at Blaj aLive with Manu Chao La Ventura performing most legendary, well known songs, as well as new ones, never recorded.
Festival passes cost 70 lei (16 euros) for festival entrance and 120 lei (27 euros) for festival & camping access, until the end of April. Michael Mayer (DJ set) este unul dintre cele mai grele nume ale scenei muzicale dance din Germania. DJ, producător și co-fondator al label-ului Kompakt, a fost prezent în fața a milioane de oameni din toată lumea și își petrece weekendurile propagând beat-urile electronic și dance pe tot globul. Și-a început cariera de DJ în anii ’90, printr-o colaborare cu Tobias Thomas și în ultimii 15 ani a contribuit la evoluția muzicii electronice, dance și techno, investind talent și pasiune în fiecare gig. ”Orice DJ are o responsabilitate majoră: trebuie să aducă la viață muzica progresivă, contemporană și să o combine cu trecutul. Trebuie să fii subservsiv și să ajungi să creezi muzica pe care nimeni n-ar fi visat să o asculte voluntar într-un club. Misiunea mea e în aceeași măsură de entertainer și de educator”.
Saschienne (live) e proiectul muzical născut din relația dintre DJ-ul Sascha Funke și soția sa Julienne Dessagne. Nu e o colaborare punctuală, ci un parteneriat de durată bazat pe două piese de puzzle care se completează perfect: geniul german al muzicii Techno al lui Sascha Funke plus vocea desăvârşită a lui Julienne Dessagne. Muzica electronică combinată cu emoțiile extrase din haosul și unitatea iubirii.
Tot pe Scena Electronică de la Blaj aLive se va auzi și Thomas Fehlmann (live), compozitor și DJ de origine elvețiană, care a făcut cunoștință cu muzica electronică încă de la începuturile ei, în anii ’80. În prezent locuiește și lucrează în Berlin. I se alătură și Justus Köhncke (live), solistul și DJ-ul a cărui carieră muzicală a traversat în forță genuri diverse, de la punk rock la acid, balade și techno. Justus e cunoscut pentru inițierea unui stil personal, sci-fi-techno-disco.
Blaj aLive e festivalul care aduce la un loc mii de iubitori ai libertății, într-unul dintre cele mai importante centre culturale din țară, pentru două zile dedicate muzicii.

Abonamentele pentru Blaj aLive 2015, în valoare de 30 de lei, sunt disponibile până la sfârșitul anului, urmând sa coste până la 90 de lei în zilele festivalului. Vizitatorii care optează pentru camping în zona amenajata își pot achiziționa abonamente speciale, cu 50 de lei în plus în fiecare etapă de presale. The 2015 edition announces special Kompakt artists on the Electronica Stage – the music label responsible for making Germany the electronic trendsetter of the decade. Blaj aLive crowd will be animated by the electrifying vibes of 4 acts considered the best of German electronic music: Michael Mayer, Saschienne, Justus Köhncke and Thomas Fehlmann.
Michael Mayer (DJ Set), DJ, producer and remixer, remains one of Germany’s core celebrities in dance music. The co-owner of Kompakt label played in front of millions of people, but still spends his weekends travelling around the globe. He began his career in Cologne, during the early 90’s, initiating a collaboration with a local DJ adversary, Tobias Thomas. Throughout his 15 years career, Michael contributed to the evolution of electronic, dance and techno music, while investing great talent and passion in every gig. „A DJ has a certain responsibility. He has to play progressive, contemporary music and combine it with the past. It is all about entertaining people, but you must not under challenge nor overstrain them. You must be subversive and play music that no one would have ever dreamt of listening to voluntarily at the club. You are both, entertainer and educator.”
Saschienne (live) is the musical duo formed by DJ Sascha Funke and his wife, Julienne Dessagne. More then an one off band project, this is a partnership meant to stay – the genius Techno auteur Sascha Funke and the multi-talented instrumentalist/singer Julienne Dessagne (who also released as The Twins on Hippie Dance, the label run by the Pachanga Boys) have created a deep musical project displaying the harmony and bliss of any great love.
Kompakt line-up is completed by Thomas Fehlmann (live), swiss-born composer/producer who lives in Berlin, and has been active in electronic music as far back as the 1980s and is one part of the legendary music group The Orb. Along with him, Justus Köhncke (live) – producer, singer and entertainer who surfed across several music genres from punk rock to acid, ballads to techno. Today he is well-known for developing his own sci-fi-techno-disco production style.
A tribute brought to the contemporary and vibrant trends of electronic music will come to life at Blaj aLive. The essence of german clubbing will keep the crowd aLive and pump up the good energy on the Liberty Field.
